We are proud to introduce our Secretary-General: Clémence Perno!
Currently in her third year of Law and Political Science at Jean-Moulin Lyon 3 University, this beaming young women has been passionate about Model United Nations since her arrival at university. Her presence did not go unnoticed in Nice, London, Paris, Lyon, and she was one of the organizers of the famous social events of LyonMUN 2017.
FUN FACT: more Trumpist than Donald Trump, Clémence marked the MUNICE by her presence at the NATO committee by creating a wall of plastic bottles in the Mediterranean Sea… she will be ready to do anything to make LyonMUN 2018 the best of your life!
Now it’s time for you to meet Jessica Ghazaouir, co-Director of the 2018 edition of LyonMUN!
Jessica is a graduate student in International Law at Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University. After studying International Relations for one year at the University of North Carolina, she once again joins our ranks!
Jessica held the position of Vice-President and then President of our partner Poli’Gones in 2015 and 2016, and she oversaw the organization of debates, symposiums and trips to attend other MUNs in Europe. She was also the Under-Secretary General for Committees at Lyon MUN in 2015 and 2016.
With an experience in volunteering and MUNs, she brings her knowledge to our team at all levels since she has already participated in MUNs as a delegate, but also as a Chair; and she has also been prompted to organize trips to participate in other conferences such as LIMUN in London or the famous WorldMUN!
FUN FACT: Jessica was a security guard during her exchange in the United States so be careful 😉
And last but not least, meet Raphaël Garagnon, co-Director of the 2018 edition of LyonMUN!
Raphaël is currently in his second year of Masters in Strategic and Digital Communications at Sup de Com Lyon, and he is the quiet force of the LyonMUN’s presidency. Patient and measured, he participated in the organisation of LyonMUN 2017 as the Under-Secretary General for Committees. Our great chairs know him well: he knows how to prepare for every possibility using his French as well as his Italian or English. He has also participated in many MUNs as a delegate or a chair.
FUN FACT: Raphaël is the athlete of the team. You will meet him at any time of day or night in the streets of Lyon, and even in the sky of Haute-Savoie… He has the perfect endurance to organise the 2018 edition of LyonMUN!
